Our Story
Where It All Began
Café Del Mar, established in 2002, has been a favorite spot on Fort Lauderdale Beach for both locals and tourists alike. This family-owned restaurant is known for its homemade Italian dishes, fresh produce, and fresh seafood from their on-premise lobster tank. Best-sellers include Oven Roasted Seafood Cartoccio, a pasta in Pomadoro Sauce with shrimp, clams, calamari and mussels, Roasted Snapper Whole Fish served on a plank, Calamari, and oversized frozen cocktails.
This easy-to-get-to location offers covered valet parking and is a 3-minute walk from Fort Lauderdale’s new public beach garage. It’s inside the only historic art-deco building in the area. Their serene beachy atmosphere is vibrant and chic, that serves as a favorite beachside destination for local singles, couples, and families alike.
